The Origin of Covid 19 and what we know.
PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Science) ^ | May 19, 2022 | Neil L. Harrison, Jeffrey D. Sachs

Since the identification of the SARS-CoV-2 in Wuhan, China in Jan 2020, the origin of the virus has been a topic of intensive scientific debate and public speculation. The two main hypotheses are that the virus from human to an infected animal ("zoonosis" or a research-related-accident.) The investigation into the origin of the virus has been made difficult by the lack of key evidence from the earliest days of the outbreak. There is no doubt that a greater transparency would be enormously helpful. Nevertheless, we argue here that there is much important information that can be gleaned from US-based research institutions, information not yet made available for independent, transparent, and scientific scrutiny.

I know that most of us are really tired of COVID-19 and lack of certainty of the origin of virus and what appeared to be poorly communicated informatiom. The National Academy of Science agrees that we need to remedy that situation. The scientists currently reseaching this virus want open and peer-reviewed studies to find the answers.

We know the point of origin, the Wuhan labs.

Everything else is just extraneous information that isn’t really needed.

Start charging people with Crimes against humanity and they will all crack and start throwing their colleagues under the bus.

Ralph Baric, The Bat Lady, Peter Dazak, Francis Collins, Fauci, all the people Fauci paid off to keep quiet... It would just take a couple weeks for the truth to come out.

In China, you aren’t innocent until proven guilty. Do buisiness in China with deadly pathogens, be subject to Chinese style justice.

SARS COV2 was circulating in 2019, it was relabeled and used to scare people into giving away their businesses, their freedoms and their lives via lockdowns and the shots.

We know there have been lots of lies.

We know that Fauci has lied.

Profits have been vast.

We do not know what govt’s sponsored this (possibly unknowingly)

But we do know there have been things which were not done in the public interest, and there will be no consequences except for our children

Good. I’m glad the NAS has raised this. This echoes what is in the following article. It was written a little over a year ago, but still the best I have found. It’s long, but very much worth the read:

Good to see a serious article for a change. The one linked to in post #7 is also very good.

That is a helpful article. Articles like this give us peer-reviewed information and are generally pretty good. Those with flaws are usually called out and retracted.

Yes, I really appreciate your posting this PNAS article. I had not it seen it yet and hope it gets its due attention. So nice to get quality articles worth reading here for a change!

It will be complicated. Anybody with a keyboard can go online and spew a conspiracy theory. I had a professor from France while I was in graduate school. The professor said (in a delightful accent), “I do not believe a theory until someone has replicated the data to support the theory.” That resonated with me!

Promise Ralph Baric $10 million cash and he could create Covid 19 from RaTG13 (replicating what Shi Zhengli did) in his sleep.

They know what they did and who did it. NOBODY has asked them upon penalty of X.

The FBI should have deposed/taken statements from everyone remotely involved under Trump. We had over a year. That is all on Trump. Trump would still be president if he had.

Perhaps so. But fingers would have also been pointing back at Trump. The Trump administration lifted the moratorium on GoF research in 2017.

I’m confident Trump had no idea and could plead stupidity. The change happened just weeks into his presidency and it was likely requested by Obama holdovers taking advantage of the transition. Who ever supported it needs to be named and shamed.

The Rand Paul hearings showed GoF had no real value other than it was an easy way for scientist to publish papers, get funding and become nerd famous among their peers... at the risk of the world going dark for a millenia.

Fauci’s hands are obviosly dirty (because he maintains monkeying with virus’s in a lab ISN’T GoF).
