I knew she was in bad shape.
"Magic" was my favorite song of hers, from 1980. The Xanadu Soundtrack. Movie not so good but the music excellent.

I just went through a good listen to all her albums.
Growing up in the 70s she was my first celebrity crush. Many summer days spent watching Grease and Xanadu.
Rest in peace.

So sad. Met her once at her old house in Jupiter Inlet Colony re a backyard project. Turns out another contractor later committed suicide on her back patio, and she never returned to the property. Tragedy seemed to follow her. As for meeting her - everything you would hope for and more.

Bummer. Pretty lady, lovely voice.
And I actually kind of liked the Xanadu movie, the one time I watched it.
I’ll have to play a few of her tunes this evening in remembrance.

She had, next to Farrah, the most glorious smile of the 70’s...and her music just made me feel happy. RIP.
