“Don’t know if you have noticed, but the massive majority of health care workers are female. Usually younger female. They are very self assured and righteous, obedient to “authority”, and love wielding the unchecked power that comes from perfectly following what the bureaucracy says.
Compassion or the input of the patient is nowhere to be found.
