Who is targeting Jones? The current defamation cases are not criminal or government cases. There are no prosecutors, no police, no FBI, no grand juries, no indictments, no arrests.

Here’s the thing. Barnette attracted a lot of conservative votes. It’s because people liked what she had to say in the debates and the way she presented it and so did I. But being unvetted, more info came out, and that is the WHOLE point of a primary just so you know. It is to see if a candidate is strong enough to run in a general election. Otherwise there is no point in having a primary because everyone would run.
She couldn’t stand up to it. And I don’t mean because she wasn’t strong. She was strong. But because of her relatively recent past had some nasty stuff in it that reminded people of quite frankly, Joy Reid. Not idealogically, but the comments and the way she made the comments.
