Yes, I have declared myself a member of the Q Continuum and am preparing to throw galactic zots across the quadrant.....otherwise, status quo here for now. Well, we started attending church again. Or she did. I’ll start back next week. Today was the homecoming luncheon in the fellowship hall, pot luck, and after stopping attendance after the pandemic lockdown, I kind of felt like a freeloader just walking in. Connie said they remodeled a lot of it and they brought in pros who did a first class job. Homecoming is an annual way to get back people who left the church, or joined another one. A whopping 40 people attended, 30 of whom won’t be seen again until next year. But, it’s all good. A small country church in-person beats any online megachurch in my book.

Hi, Guys! I’m way late to the thread. Had to take one of our old kitties to the emergency vet for an unknown illness. I’m back now. He’s admitted overnight for IV fluids. The bloodwork didn’t show any evil kitty virus or anything, so an X-ray will be done. The doc said there’s a thing—Fever of Unknown Origin—in cats. They don’t know what causes it.

Anyway, I hope you both are doing okay.

Gina, remember that we lost our two oldest cats to feline anemia last year - the whole region got infested with fleas, and they came indoors and feasted on anything with fur and four legs. You might want to hint about it to your vet.

Viking, the first thing they did was all the blood tests for those kinds of viruses and diseases. His blood work was normal. Something else is wrong. Hopefully they’ll know more today.

Thanks, again, Guys. He’s home from the kitty hospital but not doing much better, although they hydrated him with the IV fluids and gave him antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine. The non-diagnosis was “Fever of Unknown Origin,” which apparently really is a thing in cats now, believe it or not. We’ll just keep watching him and see how it goes.
