Home defense is shot gun all the way.

You don’t have to be “accurate” and it’s not going to blow through three walls and kill a neighbor.

And the racking of a shot gun will make most nuts pause.

I agree with all that and usually you can go out to your balcony and fire a few blasts in the air to scare any bad guys away.

I had some nutcase at my door. (I had been warned).

I told him that he could not come in to use the phone and to go away. I asked him to listen as I racked my 12 gauge.

I asked him if he knew what that sound was. He said that he did and left.

I then called the police.
