He’s delusional if he thinks the Biden administration is going to do anything to fight for Taiwan’s independence. Kirby already said we “We are clear that nothing has changed about our one China policy which is guided by Taiwan Relations Act. We do not support Taiwan’s independence.”

I originally thought Susan Rice was going to be running the WH, but I don’t think Susan is so incompetent as to put Karine Jean-Pierre in as Press Secretary. Unless, that is, the goal is to have Biden look like an idiot (which isn’t a difficult job, of course).

I will agree with MacGregor’s comments about the Biden administration up to the 2 minute mark. I have issues with his views about Russia & Ukraine, that I’ll not address here.
The Japanese launched their invasion of Manchuria from Korea, which they held and then invaded China from Manchuria. It was during those years that the Japanese push Chang Kai-shek’s armies from the coastal areas. The only ‘invasion’ from Taiwan/Formosa would have been air support from the many Japanese airbases there and movement of troops from the island to the mainland, AFTER the coastal areas were cleared of Chinese defenders.
The only ‘invasions’ the Japanese launched from Formosa were towards the Philippine Islands and the British and Dutch colonial holdings. It was long range Zero fighters and various bomber types that carried out the attacks on the USAAF airfields on Luzon, Manila, & Cavite on Dec 8 and the months that followed.
People here don’t understand that this stuff about Biden being aggressive or wanting a war with Russia and China is pure propaganda.
Reality is that Biden is weak and likely compromised. Our enemies know this and all their yelling about our supposed threatening actions, is just their propaganda to justify invasions.
So MacGregor, Tucker and the other isolationists start from an absurd premise that Biden wants WWIII with Russia AND China.
Ukraine is a gray area and we can all debate the US response.
But keeping China out of Taiwan has been bedrock strategic policy for 70 years. Red China seizing Taiwan would be an existential catastrophe for our security and economy, and for our allies as well.
For MacGregor to say we threaten China from Taiwan, and therefore we should expect and accept China invading Taiwan,is absolute evil propaganda on a scale I wouldn’t have expected even from the leftists in the Democrat party.

That may be true but your assertion about people on FR SUPPORTING China invading an ally was unsubstantiated.
Republics with limited enfranchisement to those with actual skin in the game can hope to survive. Once you open it up to everyone and the folks vote to loot from those who work and the rest of the acquired wealth, it has summarily failed. See where we are today. To save America, the voting age should be raised to 30, to those who work or own property,
no government workers should be able to vote, or those in their immediate family, nobody serving as gov’t contractors or in any way receiving gov’t assistance (and that should go for all levels of gov’t). Eliminate these armies of gov’t bureaucrats who are a cancer. Restore small government.
I fully expect the Federal Government to go bankrupt and collapse causing power to revert back to the states and associations of states.
MacGregor is telling us to abandon Taiwan and that we’ll be defeated if we don’t. He’s stating that we want to attack China. He is justifying China taking Taiwan by force.
If a real war breaks out that propaganda will not be acceptable. For me, it’s not acceptable now.
