“The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the largest federal nutrition assistance program. SNAP provides benefits to eligible low-income individuals and families via an Electronic Benefits Transfer card. This card can be used like a debit card to purchase eligible food in authorized retail food stores”

I see people using these in my grocery store all the time.

Seems to me the SNAP program allows for purchasing all the healthy food one would need.....couple that with the brandon administration touting how low unemployment is and I just don’t understand the problem.

I live very rural, so the only place for my main grocery shopping is Walmart, and that’s a 20 mile round trip as it is. I usually order on line, then go pick it up and combine all of my errands into one morning a week. (Gas, Post Office, etc.)

This very WEEK I noticed that Walmart has started putting a little tag on items that you can buy with your EBT card on-line. (SNAP program here in WI.)

That tells ya something RIGHT THERE. EBT users obviously have computers or phones to do their grocery shopping on-line, just like me, ‘Ms. Richie Rich,’ LOL!

(I don’t have a Smart phone; just a flip phone - and they wanted to charge me $80/month for internet. Nope!)

I have no answers for poor people, though I’ve PURPOSEFULLY lived my LIFE as a ‘poor person’ so I could retire early.
