I keep catching myself subconsciously saying just that before I actively remind myself I was paying 2.25 less per gallon of diesel in 2020. and 2.50 for gas.
You’re fearsome that eyes open now will again close. Don’t worry such is not a factor in this game.
Chaos is the aim. No surety, not even of one’s self. They want you fretting. It plays exactly into their hands. It’s distraction.
How many true words will be written on this forum today? Will anything change for the better? N-O spells no. Will the left be more entrenched? Yes.
The correct move is revolution. Won’t happen though, maybe can’t.. Oh, well.
“I’ll say it again and again until I’m blue in the face the Democrats will probably squeak out victories in both chambers. “
This is what I fear-—not only on the Federal level but on state levels as well where “Republicans” seem to be okay with the radicals in charge.
I do believe the abortion ruling will get the radicals and their friends to take back states——if this country goes BLUE, we’re on our own. They will NOT stop at anything. That’s when things will get REAL....
Demand is down to a recession, nothing to celebrate. Democrats aren’t going to get any credit for lowering prices by bringing in a recession.
Sheeple will think what the media tells them to think.
For me, the empty shelves are a bigger problem than the gas prices. I want the products I used to buy regularly. I miss my favorite crackers, cola, ramen and a host of other little things I used to take for granted. Some things, like milk and eggs I can still get some of the time, but then I have to stock up because it probably won’t be there next time. The price of gas and everything else is upsetting, but the missing products are a constant reminder of the destruction of the wonderful world I used to live in. About a week ago I came across a bag of things I had packed about 3-4 years ago for an overnight trip. There was about a half a roll of the toilet paper I used to buy. I felt like I struck gold. It’s going to take more than cheaper prices to satisfy me.
Demand is down because the economy is in recession. People are losing their jobs. It will get much worse before it gets better.
Never forget the Left is founded on duplicity.
Where are you located? I’m in Bucks County, PA and most items we want are available-—Yet, not as plentiful and there are empty spots in the shelves.
There is supposed to be some worldwide additional sanction on Russian oil coming in a month or two that will drive prices back to the $6 range - was a comment mentioned in passing on a cable news show - nothing more was made of it.
Don’t know where the guy got it from nor if it is even true.
Emptying our strategic reserve gives a temporary price relief in time for elections.
Well it’s not backing off here at $5.50 s gallon.
We’re not all Lefties here in NJ, ok?
Yes, diesel and #2 home heating oil are virtually the exact same thing.
Wait until all of the folks in the northeast start getting $1100 bill to fill up their home oil tank.
I know I am going to be burning a lot more wood pellets this winter
My servants are having a tough time.
I told them to get a 2nd job to help pay the bills.... : )
I paid $5.49 for premium south of Boston and saw that the price of a loaf of bread is the same.
I have suspected all along that fuel prices will drop significantly up until the election.
Democrats want to be able to claim this as a victory and rationalization for remaining in office.
Oil dropping because the economy is tanking due to Biden’s policies.
Biden said prices going up were Putins price hike.
The Shallow Brained One will very likely now take credit for them going down.
Yes voters are pretty stupid.
Eggs keep far better and longer than most people realize.
If you happen to be somewhere where you can get farm fresh eggs right from the farmer, stock up. They will last months in the fridge. The reason the ones from the stores don’t is because when you get them, they are already pretty old. You can tell by how firm the yolk and whites are.
One of the biggest eye openers for me is to see how well home grown produce and farm fresh milk and eggs actually lasts compared to the stuff that goes bad within a week of purchase from a store.
