If China can't or won't live up to their threats to the third in line to the Presidency, what makes you think they'll take Taiwan anytime soon?

You and I aren't arguing this point. That wasn't "about as clear" a green light, it WAS a green light for China to invade.

So WTF is China to make of the #3 US Politician, in line for the Presidency, to make of her visit to Taiwan?

China isn't use to such "rebellion" from women against their leaders. Women are subservient in Chinese culture. This confuses the holy hell out of them.
