I’m convinced that those FOX authors, whose lousy books aren’t a hit because conservatives don’t buy them...are mad at US for not buying them.

It seems to me that right after that time, both of them began sounding BITTER, IMHO.
Kilmeade “written” lots of books. A friend of mine used to show that his signings to challenge him on his knowledge. Kilmeade rose to the occasion( usually), he does know his stuff about US history.

The Fox news model dates back to Dave Garroway and the conservative Book of the Month club began in the late 1960s. America has moved on, and just because they’re the most attractive of the three turds in the punch bowl doesn’t mean they can sell those three morons on the curvy sofa in the morning.

I have a couple of his books. I asked for one as a gift because I thought the subject would be interesting (Nathan Hale).
I never finished it. I thought it was a bit dull. But to be fair, I enjoy the political side of Revolutionary history, not the war side. But I’ve always liked Nathan Hale. And then I was given Brian’s other book on Washington (my friend thought I’d like it since I wanted the Nathan Hale one). Didn’t read it.
But I think you’re right about the Fox authors. I haven’t read any of Bill O’Reilly’s “Killing” series because I don’t think these media people are very good historians.
