That 1992 event should have taught Americans that the government was out of control, but it didn’t, and we continue to live with the consequences.
For those too young to remember, it was thirty years ago this month that the DOJ entrapped Randy Weaver for his Christian beliefs, issued a death warrant, killed his dog, son, and wife, and shot Weaver and his friend.
Surely, the DOJ doesn’t just execute innocent people. Yet, as we learned at trial:
He had no propensity to commit crimes. Never even had a traffic ticket. Never been charged with a crime of any kind and honorably served his country.
While living in Iowa, Weaver learned it was illegal to homeschool his children independently, so he moved his family to a cabin in remote Idaho, Ruby Ridge.
Weaver attended Aryan Nation meetings three times, meeting not far from Ruby Ridge, “to exchange ideas, talk to people, I usually ended up arguing.” That’s where Gus Magisano befriended Weaver and tried to involve him in illicit activity. Weaver refused. But after three years of coaxing, Weaver finally agreed to make two sawed-off shotguns. Magisano was a fed.
What the feds really wanted was an informant, so they blackmailed Weaver: inform or face prison. Weaver refused; he was no “snitch.” With facts withheld, a grand jury indicted Weaver but, instead of simply arresting him, the feds concocted an elaborate ruse. Taking advantage of Weaver’s good nature, agents feigned being a family with car trouble stranded on a snowy bridge:
When I walked up to help, several agents jumped me and threw me to the ground. A female agent, posing to be the stranded wife, threw Vicki [his wife] to the ground.

And so it goes, on and on.. Those familiar names, same people, getting away with it over and over again.. It's a poison well, the DOJ. It desperately needs cleaning.
Years ago I read where they had to “hide” him on a military base (Ft. Bragg?) to keep him safe. Remarkable how much information keeps leaking out about this and still no fed has been investigated for murder? And the taxpayer keep paying salaries/retirements for these people.
I learned the federal government can murder.
I learned the federal government employs people who love to kill.
I learned the people are pussies and will do nothing.
If I ignore rule #1, then I also learned never to perform any illegal act at the request of a member you have not known for at least 30 years. This also applies to people who are younger than 30.
The FBI has Bern doing this since the days of Hoover. When you let these thugs get away with doing this to criminals, they naturally graduate to political opponents.
DO NOT FORGET LAVOY FINICUM AND THE INCINERATED VICTIMS AT WACO - among many others.
Please don’t forget Waco and Oklahoma City.
There is a way to stop them; but, that is unlikely to happen.
Weaver was framed for “making” a couple of sawed off shotguns. The hell of it is those are valid military weapons. In WWI they were used to clear tranches, actually called “trench guns”.
Americans refuse to learn the lessons of federal law enforcement abuse of power.
Ruby Ridge was on GHW Bush’s watch.
Bill Barr was the AG.
They are not Democrats, at least not openly.
Thanks.
Sad.
Waco and Oklahoma City have Hellary’s fingerprints all over those mass murders.
I can’t find anything that shows what President GHW Bush said about Ruby Ridge.
He was in the middle of a hard campaign when it happened.
What I’ve read said the FBI was after Weaver for a couple of years.
That puts Ruby Ridge right in Bush’s lap.
I don’t know if he intentionally ordered the Weaver family to be killed.
I don’t think so.
I think the FBI did what the FBI wanted to do.
It is for certain that the coverup of the government’s action at Ruby Ridge happened under the Clinton Administration.
Director Danny Coulson, who did not know that Vicki Weaver had been killed,[93] wrote a memo with the following content:
Something to Consider
1. Charge against Weaver is Bull S___.
2. No one saw Weaver do any shooting.
3. Vicki has no charges against her.
4. Weaver’s defense. He ran down the hill to see what dog was barking at. Some guys in camys [camouflage] shot his dog. Started shooting at him. Killed his son. Harris did the shooting. He is in pretty strong legal position.[38]: 56
DOJ, FBI and ATF were all involved the executions and the coverup.
All on Bush41’s watch.
Then when they got away with it, the grabbed the National Guard and murdered 100 at Waco.
Ruby Ridge: The Truth And Tragedy Of the Randy Weaver Family by Jess Walter, is a detailed and reasonably even-handed examination of the case. Highly recommended. And incidentally, when this wretched episode was finally played out in court Weaver and Harris were cleared of all charges except one count of failure to appear.
If one were to apply the same reporting standards to Bill Clinton or the current Present, Xao Bi-Dung, what would come of their real transgressions? Just truthful reporting would take them down as scoundrels. The fabrications of the left, if applied to them, would be historical scandals.
Chicago Area.
None will ever be learned...
However, the American people have thoroughly learned to:
Bow down!... Obey!... Snitch!...
