Lewy body dementia sets in very fast. We watched a friend at church go from living independently, driving, clear minded, etc to hearing things, to not recognizing anyone to dead in maybe 6 months. All during the wuhan panic when everyone was rushing out and getting the shot.
I never asked the family about her getting the shot but the timing was right.
Might as well trust our government and continue to get them, right?
That’s horrible. But there’s nothing good about dementia regardless of the time frame. Arguably, the shorter the better.
Normal life span for Lewy Body dementia is 5 to 8 years, so that was very fast for your friend. Very sad

I see it manifesting in how people drive lately. The last year has seen a huge change. I’ve almost been run off the road more times in the last 6 months than in the previous 30 years.
