Alabama prison officials examined female reporters’ clothing and tried to block a female reporter with AL.com from witnessing Thursday night’s execution of a death-row inmate, saying her skirt and shoes violated a prison dress code.
Ivana Hrynkiw, a reporter and managing producer with AL.com, said she was told by Alabama Department of Corrections Public Information Officer Kelly Betts after she arrived at the media center at William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore that her skirt was too short.

get the widow on the set
This is a story???
I get it, she’s hot, she’s got long legs and she got away with violating the PRE-ESTABLISHED dress code (just a guess, but I’ll bet it was a bunch of guys that let get by) before. Got stopped this time and now it is a federal crime and she’s being discriminated against. Somehow being an award winning journalist makes it substantially worse.
So if I get away with taking my firearm on an airplane a dozen times, when I get stopped the thirteenth time for violating laws and policies, I have a legal recourse for discriminatio?
Morons . . .
It’s interesting when people die
Give us dirty laundry.
It’s an execution not a sorority party.
She tried to lift his spirits...

Please pay particular attention to page 17. The rules are available in many ways and she would have known them before she would have had the opportunity to enter the facility. It matters little to me whether she gets in or not, but it does to them.
Rules are in place for a reason and were approve by a number of people before they were published and enforced. Is it that hard to just follow the rules you were aware of?

You can always tell fools by how much they are thinking about themselves and not where they’re going, or the environment they’ll be in.
stupid woman- this is not a casual affair.
Use some common sense.
Side note: One time, I screwed up, forgot, and wore jeans (which the prisoners were also wearing). I had to visit the Friends Outside house next to prison and rummage thru a box of used clothes to find an outfit. I ended up with a bright orange shirt and red and white striped pants. The prisoners had fun with it....
Is skirt measuring an actual job in this place? What does it pay?
You can bet her News Director is looking at this. It makes her organization look unprepared and unprofessional.
She doesn’t seem to have a clue or a care.
I’ll bet she put up a fuss about not Americanizing her last name. “Why am I being singled out and Name-Shamed?”
I like a girl with a short skirt and a looooooong, long jacket
She’s a tease. She gets off with tempting me with no longer way to get “relief”
And probably a lesbian.
😆
Crappy music, nice butt, but no tits.
When I was in high school (1969), there was still a dress code. Skirt length was part of it.
If questioned about their skirt lemgth, the girl had to kneel on a chair. If her skirt did not touch the chair, home she went.
