Is Walmart testing the waters for STORAGE LOCKERS and THRIFT STORES?

Around here they are junking up their parking lots with large shipping containers.

Twitter won’t let me peep at the article without signing up.
What is Walmart saying here?
Are they about to begin selling used goods, as with Ebay
or are they simply being sarcastic: “If our prices are too high for your meager budget, fine, just start doing your shopping at the Salvation Army and Yard Sales.

Go to the local Goodwill. One can find some pretty good things there at very affordable prices.

This appears to be one way for Walmart to cope with tough times ahead.

BS headline to get attention. They’re really talking about refurbished stuff, specifically mentioning electronics (Apple and the like). Yeah, I know that’s technically “used goods”, but I’ve been buying refurb for about 20 years now and save a ton, so I’m not seeing anything wrong with Walmart selling refurbs.

I don’t know, the prices on used iPhones are better than new ones.

After decades of driving down the quality of nearly every product in the country by underselling higher quality offered elsewhere and subsequently replacing everything with single use garbage they suggest we should buy used.
