I still remember the Pittsburgh "Bowling for Dollars" host, fixed the "Daily 3", with paint filled ping balls, and the number was 666.
Do me a solid and don’t buy a ticket, so I can buy a ticket and win.
Is that $100 or $1 bills.
I was close to winning except I did not have a single matching number... maybe next time.
The odds are just 302 million to 1
It would be that just a bit more to make my retirement comfy.
Ask Oboogaloo. Didn’t he have billions in cash flown to Iran via USAF? He might be willing to confirm what the volume of a $ billion is.
I don’t know I just searched for a billion on pallets.
Pick the numbers you didn’t pick next time to improve your odds!
I’m going to pick all of the numbers using lucky “7”.
I’m not a numbers person, but I would think that the odds of all the eight numbers (or however many of them there are) all coming up “7” is the same as any random generated number the computer picks.
I think the last time there was a big jackpot I bought 5 tickets, and on one of them I actually had one of the numbers that was picked!
How did the host Jon Costas, know that the jackpot was going to be 1.02 billion dollars. right after the ping pong balls were drawn.
It's criminal.
I dont need that much. Just enough to pay off the house and support the wife’s amazon habit.
It says estimated. They probably know from decades of drawings how many tickets people will buy. They are estimating about 200 million more than it was at the time of the drawing.
I remember getting horse racing tickets from the grocery store. All I had to do was watch that one race on their special TV program to see if I was a winner. Learned at an early age how fixing works.
Don’t forgot, the cash option is about 55-60 percent of the amount. That total jackpot amount is based on the total amount if it is paid in installments. An interest drawing account is created which is EXPECTED to mature to the jackpot amount. Problem is, who can guess what the value is gonna be 20...or 30 years from now. Or if the guaranteers will exist.
Then the winner gets to pay fed taxes...and state taxes ( cal doesn’t collect state taxes on these jackpot) if applicable.
Either way,a pile of money. But don’t forget the long lost people who always really loved you. And your heirs, counting the days till you die
It’s just an estimate based on past big jackpot trends. Could end up being more if it does pay off.
There is no amount of money a woman can’t spend…
Jackpot - $1.02 billion
Cash Option - $602.5 million
After 37% Federal Income Tax - $379.6 million
State Income Tax - 0% (seven states) - 13.3% (California)
You can also get paid by a 30 year annuity.
