I never said anything about illegal drug use. She deserves what she gets. I know a vet who suffers from PTSD and medical (legal) pot helps him. He uses a pen and I never even smell it. I have no use for it myself but I won’t deny medical aid to others (like liberals trying to control Ivermectin) if it helps them in any way.

Yeah in THIS country it’s legal.

It never ceases to amaze me that a lot of people assume the freedoms they enjoy in this country extend to other parts of the world as well, obviously they don’t and that’s a hard lesson this person is learning right now.

I know people who use it for arthritic pain. They do not smoke it, they either take oral drops or gummy’s. In some States the legal dispensary's actual have products designed for pain alleviation and they do not get you high. They are not cheap and a person can only get high by taking more than the recommended dose. Expensive high, cheaper to buy buds. In most cases people take them at night before bed as a substitution for NSAIDS which have major side effects when used routinely for pain. If Biden made it legal federally (lots of problems with doing that), the VA would be mailing it out to vets for pain.

I am suspicious of the CBD oils. Hemp oil is useless for pain, tried it. Oils with THC would require the oil be absorbed. No evidence THC manages pain when absorbed through the skin. They do not know exactly how THC works to reduce chronic pain, but it does. That is however, not a valid reason to vape or smoke it since that creates a host of other issues. My doctor told me medical marijuana is a joke, but THC as a therapeutic has some value if dosage and usage are controlled. Until such time as THC is legal drug companies will not do the work to determine usage, dosage and best way to administer.
