Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell) passed away in 2020. I read his auto-biography. He was police officer for the LAPD for 18 years and part of that time he was a motorcycle cop. In one 1980 incident, he was severely wounded while attempting to stop a car theft.
He was on foot, in pursuit of a car thief when the thief shot him. 3 times. 2 bullets were stopped by his bullet proof vest. The third bullet stopped by his metal belt buckle. He was lucky.
