Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich weighs in on the upcoming 2022 midterm election on the "FOX News Sunday" panel:
BRET BAIER: You've been in politics a long time. Democrats in some states around the country are funding more right-leaning candidates thinking it's going to be easier for them. They did it in Maryland, Pennsylvania. They failed in Colorado. This can whip around them.
NEWT GINGRICH: It's an a huge risk. You're faced with an American tsunami, not a republican. An American tsunami.
You saw some of it just now. 38% increase in New York City in the last year. People are going to go out, look at their gas tank, look at their grocery store, and I guess the Republicans are going to pick up probably five or six Senate seats somewhere between 40 and 70 House seats. It won't be obvious until October and in October will come crashing down. The Democrats are helping nominate the people they least want to see in office. It's crazy.

I do not know about, GA, NH or NV, but I do not see a pickup here in Arizona even without the Democrats needing to ‘tilt the scales’ in Maricopa & Pima Counties.
I think regardless which of the five (I think) candidates win the primary, there will be enough of the losing Republican factions (MAGA, GOPe & Vichy) angry enough to simply pass over the Senate race on the ballot or not even vote and give the seat back to Kelly.
I am also afraid the same thing will happen in the Governors race.
Yes they will cheat
Yes there will be RINOs
But that doesn’t mean give up - better poll watching - better primaries
The Democrats and RINOs are so out of favor with the voters they will lose some seats even with cheating.
And midterms are much harder to coordinate cheating in - they can’t focus on swing states like they can in a presidential election.
Somebody needs to splain to Newt how Dominion voting machines work. There is no red wave coming.
I have yet to hear from anyone how the Republicans are going to take control of the Senate. Let’s see if someone can name the pickups.
My gut says dems are scheming to steal specific Senate elections that will keep the Senate 50/50 or worse. Hope I’m wrong.

I think Newt is right on the House, but wrong on the Senate.
I think the GOP gets maybe 1 seat in the Senate and most likely zero.
I agree that a big pickup on the House is a given. A gain of 40 or more is not at all unreasonable.
The Senate is more iffy. Senate races hinge more on individual factors and personalities. Mitch McConnel doesn’t help either. He’s an uninspiring leader, to say the least.
All of the experts act like voter fraud doesn’t exist.
I think at best we barely take control in the Senate.
Primarily because we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with our Senate candidates. (Repeal the 17th Amendment!)
I hope the Gingrich claim proves true, but I doubt it.
Getting the House will stop the Bidenistas from doing anything legitimately (that is legislatively!). He’ll step up his EO game which we will have to counter with lawsuits. Hopefully we can force this EO issue up to the USSC and get EOs properly defined so everyone understands (even a Bindenista!) that it’s not legislation.
As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.
Consider that if ordinary conservative voters, me included, hadn’t been asleep at the wheel, then hypothetically speaking, from the 2010 elections, the first midterm after Obama took (stole?) control of the Oval Office, conservative voters could have replaced entire Senate TWICE by now with conservative lawmakers, but probably with RINOs since Trump wasn’t yet endorsing lawmakers.

And speaking of elections, patriots are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents in federal and state governments. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.

I hate to be a gloomer too but I have lived in Illinois all my life. There will be more cheating. Even as unpopular as our Governor Pritsker is he will get 80% of the Chicago vote while Baily will get the other 40%. Yes you read that right.
Just an opinion, the pubbies will take the house, but the senate could be a different story, with states like GA, PA, OH.
