Re freezer storage: we wrap in paper and then vacuum seal. It works really well for at least 3 years, have not had any meat exist beyond that, but even if it did suffer freezer burn, it is still protein free of bacteria or other pathogens, so....
Even ‘Freezer Burned’ meat can be cooked in a pressure cooker and then BBQ sauced and you’ll never even notice................
