Shes not exactly Helen of Troy? What are the Chinese worried about with her going to Taiwan? I think its got more to do with her husband buying computer chips and she's paying hush money or something.
China could not care less about Nancy Pelosi.
I doubt we will ever hear much from her ever again.
Nancy and/or her hubby have always been slanted toward all things China, both financially and ideologically. They have made a lot of money by Nancy favoring legislation that benefits China. This “visit” to Taiwan is all a smokescreen by Nancy to deflect from her close and corrupt ties to China via legislation she has sponsored.
The end game for Nancy’s rule is fast approaching and she is trying to burnish her image and stay out of jail. This is all smoke and mirrors. She knows old demented Joe will say don’t go to Taiwan Nancy, giving her cover to not go while she’s giving the appearance that she wants to go, which is a crock. It’s all Kabuki theater here folks.
Nancy doesn’t give two hoots about Taiwan. She has consistently been pro-China (good for her family’s business) while suckering in all the pundits about her sudden love for Taiwan. I’ll give Nancy one thing, she truly is Machiavellian in her approach to politics. This is all a head-fake.
Doesn’t China do this for any high ranking US visit to Taiwan?
Or is this out of the ordinary?
If this isn’t standard fair then we have some concern, but It may be just the usual bluster.

If Joe Biden’s White House staff really didn’t want Nancy to go to Taiwan, all they have to do is ground the Air Force plane she’s stocking up with booze for the trip, just like President Trump did.

No, they know they can’t win (or at least it would be a pyrrhic victory) right now. Otherwise, they already have the “flimsy excuse” that Taiwan is just a breakaway province.
What China really doesn’t want is a much improved Taiwanese defense. We can provide that, mainly with new/upgraded anti-aircraft and anti-ship missile systems.
If neither a amphibious or airborne assault on Taiwan will work, China can’t successfully invade.
IMO, eventually Taiwanese nukes will completely take invasion off the table.
At that point, all Taiwan will have to worry about is the other likely scenario - a US style takeover from within by communists! >:-[
