Hello Conservative Mind, I have tried antibiotics and the GlyNAC. I have done antivirals and all kind of other treatments including homeopathic treatments, all with good results for a few weeks. I can’t even name them all :). The labyrinthectomy and CI is my last resort. funny enough, I’m looking forward to getting it done. I have read on the meniere’s forums that a lot of people have very good results with some of the alternative treatments. Especially the antivirals as some new theories are that it is caused by a herpes virus. I had cold sores as a kid so I have often wondered if there is a connection. I haven’t had them as an adult though.

Also, on the GlyNAC, the amount Nestle (now owns the patent for its Celltrient Strength product) says to take each day is 1,200 mg of glycine together with 1,200 mg of NAC, but the study on 70-80 year olds around six times that amount.
