In China there are probably 100 million missing girls
Too many blokes! The outback is getting lonelier and lonelier!
Once you legalize a moral wrong, there usually comes along many unintended consequences.
Ethnic?
My dad’s lucky he wasn’t a farmer in the 1800s. Had 5 girls and then me and I’m a small guy. He wouldn’t have had a whole lot of help on the farm.
I thought Australians were pro-choice?
“My body, my choice”
Right?
Unless a culture is for aborting girls.
Go feminist!!
so Chinese and Indian folk that live in Australia.
They brought their weird ass culture with them.
If you keep aborting the girls so you can have boys, who are these boys supposed to mate with down the road?
yeah, but but but there’s this terrible war on boys.....sure, they don’t get murdered when they’re in the womb or freshly birthed, but gee the teachers pick on them and such....
If their culture is now destroying women’s sports, like ours is, why not just abort the women and thereby get them out of the way in the first place.
Cabeza de Vaca was shipwrecked on the Texas coast, near present-day Galveston, in the 1500s and was a slave of a local Indian tribe for several years before escaping. He tells of a nearby tribe which killed all its girl babies at birth (they didn’t have ultra-sound), because the tribe practiced exogamy and they didn’t want their daughters to marry into other tribes and produce sons who would fight against them. Strangely enough that tribe later became extinct. Who could have predicted that?
their bodies, their choice
you can’t judge their reasons for an abortion
libtards
The marriageable population is now badly skewed, right about 8% more males, instead of 2% to 4% more females.
Odd, with this population pressure, that homosexuality has been legalized, after a fashion, within the last few years...
In Ancient Rome, once the family had a daughter, the rest of the female babies were drowned or left for dead when they were born. The daughter was raised to be married off. The only other children worth raising were sons.
This is not a new practice.
