This last one they used an ANONYMOUS security person who said (altered voice) they “they” FEARED (not that anything happened just afraid) that IF Trump went to the Capitol (so follow this “they” feared if) then there COULD have been an insurrection.
So “they” feared that if, then something could have happened. A whole string of things that DIDN’T happen.

The charge that Trump knew some of his supporters were armed but asked them to march to the Capitol anyway blows up in the face of those who make. If Trump knew it, so did the FBI and all law enforcement in DC, yet they allowed pathetically thin security even though they were allegedly expecting an angry, heavily-armed mob. But when Ray Epps and his buddies breached the outer perimeter of the Capitol, there were only six or seven cops standing there.

The article mentions Trump escaping Walter Reed to thank his supporters. I was one of them. It was a highlight of my life to have the President wave at me as he drove past less than ten feet away. He also sent pizza, candy and Trump souvenirs down to the crowd.
I was also a member of the massive peaceful crowd on January 6 and like Steve Bannon, I hold Congress in Contempt.
