Edward Gibbon in his work, “The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire”, postulated that Christianity was a major cause of the fall of Rome. He is mostly wrong, and only correct to the extent that Christians would not send their sons to fight for Sodomite legions. Homosexuality is the root cause.

Actually, both Gibbon and De Mattei can be right, and most likely are, at the same time.
