Do you think it could be made fresh, strained then canned? Skip the cooking part? I could use my champion juicer.

Sure. A juicer would work fine. I have one of those stove top juicers that juices everything with heat. I came up with the recipe before I had that. It makes sort work of juicing my grapes - of which I will have a HUGE crop this season.
