I’ll be sending Trump my resume. Too many of the judges that he appointed were RINOs.
Excellent! He also needs to shut down all kinds of executive agencies. Eliminate Homeland Security and let the agencies go back to individual agencies who talk to each other.
During transition he should ask for the resignation of every single appointed position.
As a former federal employee, and an AFGE union 1st level,
I SURE THE HECK HOPE HE DOES!!!
50,000 isn’t gutting. It isn’t even a waxing. It is barely a manscaping to get rid of some of the wild fuzz
A band-aid on a gunshot wound.
Trump will have to drop the Big One to repair the ship of state.
Please shut down the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the FBI. Fire Dr. Fauci, and the
management of NIH and all of those agencies that
foisted the phony vax on America.
Sounds like a good start
He really couldn’t have done that, say, two years in when things were obvious??
Sorry. Not seeing it.
Ya. That’s why he’d get elected
50,000 is a start.
Regardless of Trump, federal civil servants doing work that the federal government cannot reasonably justify under Congress's constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers and other clauses need to be dismissed. If they liked their former federal job, they can always try to find a state to hire them to do the same thing that they were doing for the feds.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the congressional record, by Rep. John Bingham, the main author of Section 1 of the 14th Amendment ...
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
In fact, it would be great if the sleeping states woke up and put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes by repealing the 16th and 17th Amendments. ALL the states would effectively "secede" from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing so imo.
Once unconstitutional federal taxes are stopped, then the states will ultimately find a tsunami of new revenues (imo) that they can use to hire former federal employees, also increase salaries for teachers, police and firefighters for starters. Let's not forget maintaining infrastructure.
Corrections, inights welcome.
In the meanwhile, patriots are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.
Again, insights welcome.
A USA President cannot fire 50,000 civil servants unless they have violated their employment contracts - or - there are budget related issues.
Trump can only arbitrarily fire Executive Branch political appointees - I think that number is less than 7,000.
Trump could have fired all of Obama's appointees on his first day in office in 2017.
Instead, almost 50% of Obama's appointees still had their jobs six months before the 2018 Mid-Term election!
Don’t have to fire them to get rid of them.
I would hope so. Washington DC is corruption central, and it has been corrupt since at least 1861.
They say it like its a bad thing.
I used to think Trump was playing stalking horse. No more. I think he is going to run. Also think him winning is the last chance for this country to avoid a few decades of utter H###. Will the country survive? Yeah. It’s been through worse (the Civil War fought by Democrats against those who wanted to ban slavery comes to mind).
The question is how much pain will the nation go through before the issues are resolved? With Trump, there will still be pain (the leftscum including Dems and GOPe have screwed things up so much a quick fix just is not possible), but there will be less. And draining the swamp would definitely help.
Also this time around (if Trump wins), I think it will be no holds barred. He was a little naive about politics the first time around. Thought he could work in good faith with the leftscum. Think he’s learned that such just isn’t possible.
TRUMP 2024!!!
That sounds like a start. Arrests, tribunals, hangings.
I can’t for 2024 election to vote for trump for the third time!!
Too bad he didn’t do it his first time around.
