Trump would 'fire tens of thousands of civil servants' and 'gut the government' to sort his agenda if he runs and wins in 2024
Daily Mail ^ | July 22, 2022 | Morgan Phillips

Donald Trump has plans to purge the so-called 'deep state' beyond what any president has done before if he runs for and wins the presidency in 2024 and as many as 50,000 government workers could find themselves on the chopping block.

That could be amusing. They can’t bully a judge into giving them a warrant, so they try to bully a citizen. Is there some law that says you have to store your firearms at your residence?

I used to think Trump was playing stalking horse. No more. I think he is going to run. Also think him winning is the last chance for this country to avoid a few decades of utter H###. Will the country survive? Yeah. It’s been through worse (the Civil War fought by Democrats against those who wanted to ban slavery comes to mind).

The question is how much pain will the nation go through before the issues are resolved? With Trump, there will still be pain (the leftscum including Dems and GOPe have screwed things up so much a quick fix just is not possible), but there will be less. And draining the swamp would definitely help.

Also this time around (if Trump wins), I think it will be no holds barred. He was a little naive about politics the first time around. Thought he could work in good faith with the leftscum. Think he’s learned that such just isn’t possible.

TRUMP 2024!!!

Likely the residents of Minot and Jackman would be quite angry that you would even suggest such a thing.

But Trump’s people were pushing hard to move federal employees out of the DC area.

The USDA was to be moved to Kansas City. The Bureau of Land Management was to be moved to Denver and spread out in many BLM offices.

An internet search using terms “Trump moving OPM out of DC” lists dozens of reports of fights of the Trump presidency with the federal bureaucracy.

The Fed’s today really are insubordinate to any outsiders thinking to change their “good thing”.

Trump already had it planned and ready to go. Biden recinded it. All he had to do is bring it back

Clearly, he has no understanding of the history of Civil Service. And many folks on the site don’t know it either.

As much as you want Trump to be a dictator, that’s not how any of this works.

Congress makes those decisions. Not the executive.

That sounds like a start. Arrests, tribunals, hangings.

Pay attention: This IS how Trump is campaigning. In his last rally he started throwing down the gauntlet to our own RINO’s as well as the buttdragging Dims. He’s laying down markers faster than a highway paving machine. I expect he will put a finer point on at least some of his platform in tonight’s speech. Even if he doesn’t run he’s telling the Repubs where they have to go to get the MAGAs to support them. Take notes.

There are many folks here that would fight for him to be king and hang every person they didn’t like. It would rival the Salem witch trials. And no, I’m not being sarcastic or exaggerating.

The first people to be fired need to be everyone in the FBI, from Wray, all the way down to the janitorial staff that vacuums the carpets. The FBI is SO CORRUPT that it cannot be saved.

Excellent! I trust he does gut most of the Executive branch and get his Republican controlled Congress to end all these unconstitutional government branches the democrats created over time.

The quandary is where to start. This ten thousand, or that ten thousand, or those ten thousand?

I hope Trump picks a better crowd to surround himself with this time around than the gaggle of imbeciles, back stabbers, and deep state stooges that he brought in during his first administration.

But then I have to ask myself, will he?

I hear you, it’s so obvious yet so impossible (for anyone else to consider).

Every time I hear about our growing debt and then “$40B going to Ukraine” I want to just scream....maybe, JUST MAYBE, we’re taxed too much. It is so easy for them to give away OUR FUTURE with no limits. We know where the money goes too... to enrich themselves. The whole thing is corrupt.

Gut it.

‘fire tens of thousands of civil servants’ and ‘gut the government’

Works for me!

I’m cool with it.

Government needs a significant reduction overall.

Good start. I think he will need more pink slips.
