He really couldn’t have done that, say, two years in when things were obvious??

Sorry. Not seeing it.

I’m no traitor. Stop tarring everyone with the same brush. I’ve got skin in the game. Many of us are conservatives who believe in this country and sacrificed a lot…and you’re not helping the cause.

“Congress passed laws giving these employees all kinds of protections.” You can move their offices to remote and unappealing locations, Try places like Minot, ND or Jackman, Maine.

“Now the Dems will just legislate protection from firing into law.”

Yeh, that’ll work until the Dem law is erased by the new congress.

"Trump would 'fire tens of thousands of civil servants' and 'gut the government' to sort his agenda if he runs and wins in 2024"

Regardless of Trump, federal civil servants doing work that the federal government cannot reasonably justify under Congress's constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers and other clauses need to be dismissed. If they liked their former federal job, they can always try to find a state to hire them to do the same thing that they were doing for the feds.

In fact, it would be great if the sleeping states woke up and put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes by repealing the 16th and 17th Amendments. ALL the states would effectively "secede" from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing so imo.

Once unconstitutional federal taxes are stopped, then the states will ultimately find a tsunami of new revenues (imo) that they can use to hire former federal employees, also increase salaries for teachers, police and firefighters for starters. Let's not forget maintaining infrastructure.

Corrections, inights welcome.

In the meanwhile, patriots are reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed patriot candidates.

Again, insights welcome.

This is the Mail retailing Axios' hyperventilating about the "Schedule F" executive order that Trump signed in October of 2020, which appears to have the Dems, and the Deep State rattled, so there's probably something to it.

Doubtless it's not a panacea, but if it could pass muster, it's certainly a step in the right direction.

Wow?

A USA President cannot fire 50,000 civil servants unless they have violated their employment contracts - or - there are budget related issues.

Trump can only arbitrarily fire Executive Branch political appointees - I think that number is less than 7,000.

Trump could have fired all of Obama's appointees on his first day in office in 2017.

Instead, almost 50% of Obama's appointees still had their jobs six months before the 2018 Mid-Term election!

Don’t have to fire them to get rid of them.

I would hope so. Washington DC is corruption central, and it has been corrupt since at least 1861.

Gut the 80%+ unconstitutional portion of the $4 trillion federal government

No, GUT it all, make them sue in Federal Court, clog up the whole System! That’s what a Democrat would do! They don’t care is something is legal, they just do it like open boarders and wait to be sued knowing that takes years!

I am not interested in what the DEMONocRATS would do. They are the problem. I don’t want to be part of the problem.

I happen to love America and our Free Constitutional Republic that has been railroaded for the last 100+ years by the Delusional Lying Left.

I love freedom. A limited and constitutional federal government protects my God-given freedom. I’m not for the overthrow of the Constitution. That is what the DEMONocRATS are all about.

I want to see the Constitution reinstated as the Supreme law of the Land which enforces the true protection of FREEDOM from government coercion.

We need a constitutionally limited federal government and constitutionally sovereign states, but we need the unconstitutional portion of the feds dismantled.

Hell it already is codified.
Extremely hard to get rid of a vested federal employee.
