This seems unlikely.
China will simply steal Tesla tech, as it has done with numerous other companies.
The Chinese made version will be cheaper, and/or the Tesla production in China will be hampered/hamstrung by the CCP.
It is how the CCP works.
I understand your point.
Tesla is the only foreign vehicle manufacturer allowed to function with no Chinese pardner and loss of effective control. At present Tesla is said to be unique in that regard.
It will be interesting to see how things play out.
