What they don’t tell you is it is designed to be a PHEV and the extricate only vehicle is for the CA market. The hybrid will have a small rotary generator and be powered by the electric drive. Range yet to be proven but more in the 250 - 300 if I recall correctly.

The rotary engine is typically poor fuel economy and high emissions.
Maybe they’ve made some breakthroughs.
