BUENA PARK, Calif. (CNS) -- In the aftermath of a brawl among teenagers over the weekend that prompted the park to close early, Knott's Berry Farm has announced a "chaperone policy" that will require all guests aged 17 or under to be accompanied by a 21-or-older chaperone throughout their visit to the park on Fridays and Saturdays.
Any teens found unaccompanied in the park on Fridays or Saturdays "will be subject to ejection" under the policy, which will take effect Friday.

Not a bad idea. Unsupervised groups of roving teens have been ruining amusement parks for decades. If you ever wonder why Houston doesn’t have a major theme park, it is not just the sauna in Hades weather in the summer. After Astroworld started selling season passes and became a teen hangout it wasn’t long before the employees became casually supervised, rides were constantly out of service and families, with money to spend, didn’t want to go there. It was shut down, no one wanted to buy it, and now it is a parking lot.
Negros.
Do You have a better udea on how to stop the brawls
No, but Margret Sanger did
> Disneyland outprices the teen thugs. <
Good comment. There is a large amusement park near me. And for decades admission was free. You paid separately for each ride you took.
Then about 15 years ago they started charging a hefty admission fee. It was done for the reason you just mentioned. It cut down on the peaceful rioting. But only somewhat.
And the worse part is that I can no longer go there just to walk around. Getting in is too expensive.
Geez, those teenagers. Is Eddie Haskell out there playing his practical jokes on Beaver?
Diversity in action.
I remember some years back ,hearing from family and friends in the Washington, DC, area, that a theme park there, Six Flags America, drew a pretty rough crowd, and that they didn’t go there.
The hooligans ruins it for everyone. Sad but it happens.
Typical leftist remedy — instead of cracking down on the troublemakers, make everyone in the group suffer with prevention.
As always, the “solution” is to put the burden on totally innocent people, rather than on the ones responsible for the trouble.
Always.
“Teens” again?
Great great point!!
Send them to Afghanistan.
Lots of gang members that are over 21 these days.
The other day cleaning up some my parents old stuff I found a set of Viewmaster slides of Knott’s Berry Farm from the 1950s.
See City of Chicago Youth Policy which is free burial insurance.
What dies IBTR mean?
Those zany teens and their jalopies
That's the quiet part - Shushhh!
all we need to know is that blacks have ruined yet another place.
