This is video is excellent in the way it describes what has actually gone wrong in corporations all around the world re: their Woke transformation.
It has apparently all come from the HR departments and their rise to power in the last decade (and more).
The HR departments are telling corporations that what created the financial crisis back in 2008 was NOT low-interest rates and lax lending standards but the way that corporate cultures were managed. Ergo, HR had the answer and that answer was to turn power over to them and let them structure corporate cultures in ways that reflected the radical ideologies bleeding out of universities (Wokeism).
My point is that the fear of suit is greater in a Board than in an Owner. An Owner defends while a Board parries. The typical HR type is a product of the Grievance Industry itself — they are symbiots. The justify their existence with fear of attack.
Leftists fit well in both roles in the Grievance industry.
Top tier tradesmen who love their work and are honest, never have to worry. The money flows naturally to them and they get paid to do what they like.
Construction industry can be a great field.
My old company recently outsourced the HR dept to a 3rd party.
What can you tell us about that?
On the surface that sure would get rid of the system-wide Woke meddling and boardroom influence.

Thanks; I still have years of work ahead of me, but I’m glad I’m not starting out now. At my age, I’m supposed to fear younger workers taking my job, but frankly, I don’t see that happening with the batches they’ve been churning out.
I’ve seen some co-workers joke about things where others say they aren’t offended/think it’s funny, but whenever a company lets one of those people go then suddenly years of off-color jokes are brought up in a lawsuit. In the situation you describe, anyone who took up the older female worker is a fool - she’s OK with it until she’s not OK with it (usually after termination).
