That's the problem with pitts, and what all owners claim until tragedy strikes. They are wonderful, loyal, loving dogs right up until the moment they maul or kill. Then they are right back to their old self. It's like a switch flips.

Pitts don’t come with an off switch. Other dogs may hite once, or twice, then stop.

Not pitts. Once they bite, they don’t stop until whatever it was is quite dead.

Pitts are the Magnesium fire of dogs. You can’t put it out.
