“Somali Airlines is run by Lufthansa,”
Source?
haboobs wreak havoc with crosswind
“He was on the runway as can be seen in the video with this story:”
Video only show after the crash. Does not show plane on runway.
Was Jabba himself have been at the controls???
Inquiring minds want to know.
Good to know this fact in all the noise. The Fokker fuselage looks pretty good considering the wings were torn off.
That’s an old plane. Production was discontinued in 1997 when Fokker went out of business, so it’s at least 25 years old.
lol - yeah...I suppose in this case it really does help. I’ve never seen this before. Outside of bad turbulence, I’ve been curious about the overall data regarding “lives saved due to wearing an aircraft seatbelt”.
Sully II, the movie! I can’t wait.
I used to fly them a lot, back in the 80s. It was all Lufthansa run back then. Now the new Somali Airlines has a similar arrangement.
Sometimes you can take the whole “Trust the instruments” thing too far.
Like if the HSI tumbles on takeoff roll.
