Wasn’t like 15 or 20 years ago that Texas had a straight month or so of temps over 100?
We had 71 days at 100 or above in 2011. In 1980 we had 42 days in a row at 100 degrees or above. I really don’t remember thinking much of it at the time. I guess getting older I just notice the heat more. It was 108 here yesterday, though, and I was surprised that it seemed a comfortable level when it cooled to 102.
