Hey fellas, don’t go after each other. Blessed are the peacemakers. Seriously, an argument over the weather? Just laugh and make light of it all. Let the leftists keep killing each other over multiple baby daddys.

Please brother, you two make peace. It’s just weather. Please. Makes us all look bad. Let the leftists destroy each other over trangender athletes, abortion failures giving us Kamala, and stuff like that.

“Isn’t it Summer? In Texas?”

Yes, but it’s a little unusual for it to be this hot, this early, this long. Normally, first 100 deg day in DFW is July 1st. We’ve been at this, this year, since June 11th.

It’s not manmade climate change, just weather - just a little out of the ordinary.

Some people are just born dickweeds. Never did understand them, still don’t but I don’t like them either.

We have not had rain since June 10 and nothing but blazing sun now and as far as the forecast goes. Accuweather even took out the teasers of rain for the next three months.

I make it rule never to start or initiate any conflict, to be sarcastic or demeaning. I make it a rule to finish it though if that’s where fools want to go.

And it’s not just weather. This is historic and people are at risk. Records are being shattered and we haven’t had rain for over 35 days now. The grid is being pushed to the limit and people’s bills are tripling.

2 fools want to start it....I’ll finish it. Thanks.

Even Yuma issues an Extreme Heat Warning when it gets to 115. 110 won’t trigger one. And they expect temps could get up to 120 at any time between late April and early Sept.

If 115 worries them it’s definitely dangerous.

Yes - we’re breaking records going back to a bad drought and heatwave in 2011

I’m waiting for - ‘Texans losing weight by the HUNDREDS of pounds due to heat.’ Could be a dream. Was pretty frickin’ hot when I was there back in the 80s.

I do understand. If you knew what I was doing for a living now and how it’s affecting me, you would actually be surprised. It is BLISTERING hot and I’ve been telling customers I don’t remember the heat feeling like this. You ARE correct. Just asking in a kind way for you folks to not go after each other and ruin this good thread about what is happening. Let the lefties do that to each other, or direct you anger at them. THEY are destroying this country with their ideology and actions right now.

Yeah, I mean Texas is hot in summer...get it. But this is historic, it’s dangerous and it’s newsworthy...despite the jerks here. Always jerks in life we have to deal with. They make life crappy.

If I ever did move to Texas, I would first need to check average temps in different parts of the state and choose accordingly.

In the summer, you have two options: hot and humid [east Texas] or hot and dry [west Texas].

Spot on. Doesn't feel right. Something's coming. Another point, if it heats up the ocean (Gulf of Texas, etc.) enough, if we have a hurricane, it's going to be a big one.

We haven’t had any measurable rain since June 6. Very, very dry. Feeling like 2011 all over again.

A/C is rare in the UK, so they’ll be feeling it.

Was it 1979 or 1980 when we had a heatwave similar to this?
Over 100 days straight of over 100 degree heat. It was horrible.

Yes Texas is hot every year but this year is especially bad, I sure pray our power grid stays on!
