Canada’s medical assistance in dying (MAiD) law is already the most permissive euthanasia and assisted-suicide legislation in the world.
Understandably controversial in itself, there are many horror stories surrounding its implementation. For example, as lifesitenews.com recently reported,
A 71-year-old widower was admitted to a Southwestern Ontario hospital after a fall. His family says during his admission he contracted an infectious diarrheal illness. He was humiliated by staff for the smell of his room, his family said. He developed a new shortness of breath that was not comprehensively assessed. In this context, a hospital team member suggested he would qualify for MAiD. The team said he had end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and it was terminal. The patient was surprised by the diagnosis but trusted the team. Within 48 hours of his first assessment, he received a medically assisted death. Post-mortem testing showed he did not have end-stage COPD. His family doctor, when notified of his death, also stated he did not have end-stage COPD, but the team had failed to contact her when they were assessing his history.

Nonetheless, the Great White North’s federal “expert” panel on MAiD has recommended mental illness be added to the list of maladies making one eligible for MAiD……apparently without any legislative changes. How nice, euthanasia by administrative fiat. What could go wrong?

Actually, a reasonable method for determining who is normal...is to establish who..or what is..abnormal.
Most can agree that most crimes are driven by abnormal behavior.
Unjustifiable murder..violent behavior..abuse or cruelty to children and the elderly or mentally deficient..rape..molestation...abnormal but not abhorant behavior such as most misdemeanors..although a social annoyance.. TV do not reach the same level of abnormalacy.

Even Dr Ezekiel Emanuel (65), medical doctor and chair of the University of Pennsylvania’s department of medical ethics and health policy, would have waited till the patient was 75 before directing the short step to the morgue. The Canadian national health must be running short of money again!

And why not? If infanticide is acceptable, why shouldn't execution of the mentally ill be acceptable?
And if infants and the mentally ill, why not older children? the elderly? the handicapped? the racially undesirable? Anybody you don't like?
And why not mass extermination? death camps? Auschwitz? Dachau? Medical experiments? Rape? Torture? Slavery?
Why not all the evils ever devised by man or the devil? There are evils you have not even imagined. Why not go there?
You see, once you start down a dark path, it gets darker and darker, and there is no depth to the depravity into which you can descend.
And anyone who can make you believe such absurdities as that a man can get pregnant and give birth--or that infanticide or the execution of the mentally ill or the "racially impure" is just--
Anyone who can make you believe anything that absurd, can make you believe ANYTHING!
And anyone who can make you BELIEVE ANYTHING, can make you DO ANYTHING!
The Left/"the woke"--the US Democrat Party--have descended into madness (and the irony of the recommendation of the Canadian "expert panel" is not lost on the wise). The madness is not far from the madness into which Germany descended in the mid-20th century. The benevolent people who have descended into this madness need to wake up to reality--and fast! They have headed down a very dark pathway.
Saving the world from madness--yet again--is the charge of all honest, intelligent, benevolent people. Truth--truth for its own sake--is our greatest defense against such madness.

The way to trip such people up is by making them *define* their terms.
That is, statistically the largest number of mentally ill are people with depression, which can be acute or chronic.
The Democrat governors of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan required nursing homes to admit COVID-19 patients to their vulnerable populations. Mass euthanasia, clearly with intent to kill elderly with dementia, senility and Alzheimer’s.
Lots of medical personnel think of the money to be gained by harvesting the organs of the comatose and incapacitated.
How about euthanizing the mentally deficient? This was really popular along with forced sterilization of those disliked by society.
What about quadra- and paraplegics? Those with nervous system diseases? Genetic diseases?
Not too long ago, the Health Chief of France exterminated all of his nation’s hemophiliacs. He knew the blood components they needed to survive had been contaminated with HIV, but did nothing about it until they were all infected and dying of AIDS.
He got away with it.
