Ron Hamburger not doing well in the land of fruits and nuts!
Not to worry! The taxpayers will give some help until the massive lawsuits arrive, nothing could satisfy an army of money-hungry attorneys.

It’s not even that nice looking or tall of a tower. Oh well.

In another place, the ‘D’onkey Party would be talking about millionaire subsidies and white supremacy to be anti taxpayer subsidies ... but this is San Francisco, where the ‘D’s harvest money and the tower owners are major donors!

The $100 million retrofit project was supposed to keep the building from sinking and tilting more and stabilize property values.Stabilize the property itself, and the values will take care of themselves.

....The $100 million retrofit project – partially paid for by taxpayers as part of a resolution of litigation...WT*?!?!?

...As it stands, with the additional tilting since work on the underground wall along Fremont started in May, the tower is now leaning at least 29 inches at the top at the northwest corner.

Really? A guy named Hamburger is running the show? Not being inspired here. Phone call-—Captain Hamburger pick up the phone. Captain Hamburger should call the Florida guys who fixed that condo. Or maybe the Florida guys who collapsed the bridge on the highway? Or maybe the Italians-—they know how to handle a crooked building. My suggestion is to drive those 100 million dollar bills straight into the foundation sideways until the whole thing straightens up. Cheap fix. All they need is a lot of hammers.

How are the taxpayer responsible for this building tilting.

I’ve been watching this one on and off since the initial publicity.
No friggin way I’d have gotten involved. Lawsuits will ensue regardless of outcome.

Maybe this building was never supposed to last?
Maybe contractors with bent noses stole everything but the kitchen sink and put high insurance policies on it banking on the Big One to cover all the fraud.
Or maybe I’ve watched too many Sopranos reruns....
