MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Milwaukee moved another step closer to hosting the 2024 Republican National Convention on Friday when a site selection committee unanimously recommended the event be held there rather than Nashville, Tennessee.
The Republican National Committee would still need to approve the location at its meeting Aug. 2-5 in Chicago. Nashville could still be the winner, but that city’s chances hit a roadblock earlier this month when opposition led proponents to withdraw a proposed agreement about how to host the event.

The last one was pretty much virtual. Played into the hands of the left. Blue state governors or Mayors could always pull off some last minute show-stoppers. We need a big showing.
If Trump is there there will be NO PROBLEM having a HUGE showing!!
I like Dyersville, Iowa. Build it and they will come.
My first thought is that holding a Republican Presidential Nominating Convention in Milwaukee should provide the necessary incentive for the BLM/AntiFa/hardcore Left to finish destroying whatever is left of the city after 2020’s “Summer of (mostly peaceful) Love.”
Most big cities are leftist hellholes.
Big cities are the areas that have lodging accomodations large enough to handle everyone coming to the event.
I was robbed of the 2020 convention. Will be delighted to go to Milwaukee.
I live in the Milwaukee area, the population base of Milwaukee consists of socialists/marxists, northside AA, Democrats and south side pollacks. They are openly hostile to Republicans, I used to drive a car years ago with a prolife sticker and Scott Walker bumper sticker, it was interesting to say the least. Having said this, I think it is good to get in their face since they cannot handle any contrary views.
We had some of that hostility in Cleveland for sure. We also had lots of businesses and vendors that really liked our presence, or at least our money.
Certainly there are other cities not run by Communists that could host the conversation
