Just took a pic. It's not dark green enough now that I see it in sunlight. I looked at them yesterday after the sun was down past the trees and thought they were darker. Plant is about 15 inches tall. I've tried growing peppers before here and always get stunted growth and tiny fruits. I mixed some wood ash with water and used that on these plants a few weeks ago it they suddenly had a growth spurt. I need to get a soil test and likely lime. Blueberries grow wild here. Web Soil Survey estimates mid 5 on the pH for this area.
Have had quite a few Barry's Crazy Cherry - yellow - not a lot of flavor. Got one Yellow Pear tomato and those are good. Got one Chadwick and one Rosella that are almost ripe but 100 degree temps will probably slow the ripening process to a crawl. This heat wave summer is killing me. 10+ foot long vines. Half as many fruits as I should have due to blossom drop from the heat and the fruits I am getting are going at a snail's pace.
