Big, high-profile liberal states like California and New York grab most of the headlines and would appear to lay legitimate claim to the title of “Most Outrageous Liberal State.” With their inept governors and big-city mayors, rampant crime, embarrassing homelessness and über-woke public policies, CA and NY definitely deserve the negative attention they attract.
Massachusetts is more subtle. Sure, on a national level, we have the reputation for being “Taxachusetts” and everyone knows that John Kerry and the Kennedys are from here, but we don’t garner the adverse notoriety that CA and NY do. Instead of the humiliating blunders that incompetents like Gavin Newsom, Kathy Hochul, and Eric Adams commit daily, Massachusetts mostly skates under the national radar. We even have a supposed “Republican” governor, Charlie Baker, actually the softest, squishiest RINO of all RINOs, but to the other 49, he’s an “R,” so the rest of the country assumes – incorrectly -- that yeah, okay, Massachusetts is pretty liberal, but it’s not that bad.
Wrong.
Massachusetts is so corrupt and one-sided that Democrats here don’t even bother to hide their efforts at vote-rigging and partisan gamesmanship. The first tip-off is that every statewide election is called on election night at 8:03 p.m. and the vote is always within a point or two of 62-38% for the Democrat. Every protest to Secretary of State William Galvin goes unheeded and ignored. Galvin -- a lifelong political hack who has never held a productive job in the private sector -- has been Secretary of State since 1995, the second-longest tenure of any politician in Massachusetts’ history. The quaint notion of “election integrity” doesn’t appear on Galvin’s horizon.
The next thing to consider is the lopsided Democrat-Republican makeup of the State Legislature. The State House is 126-27 Democrat and the State Senate

Corruption is a career enhancement characteristic for many democRATs. I bet that the big blue city politics would frighten most people.
All one party states are irredeemably corrupt.
That’s why our rulers have arranged the “hate your fellow Americans, don’t hate us, in fact, don’t even notice us” political system.
What state officials do politically to the citizens is why the state is known as Sodomchusetts.
Liberals have fully embraced brown-shirt tactics of intimidating, harassing and even physically attacking those who disagree with them.
Drivers in Mass are already bad!
My favorite Mass political story is about John Kerry. He would show up at St. Patrick’s day celebrations, make remarks about “us Irish guys”, kind of us against the world and tout his Irish last name. The truth is that he has no Irish blood, his father was from what is now the Czech Republic - he emigrated to Boston and figured he would do much better with a name change to “Kerry” rather than “Knoblauch”. Mr. Kerry/Knoblauch then married a Forbes, from one of the Boston Brahmin families - these were “John Kerry’s” “Irish” parents.
“Massachusetts is so corrupt and one-sided”
So why would anyone live there?
In Blue states, folks stay because they make a deal with the devil.
Born here, so . . .
Once I finish school . . .
Before I start a family . . .
Don’t want to uproot the kids . . .
Mom still needs us . . .
If I was younger . . .
Every day is a new oppportunity to begin again.
Get out while you still can, then, let it all burn.
I’m so glad I left that shite hole last year for Tennessee. I could not be happier.
Residents of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont don’t call people from Massachusetts “Massholes” for nothing.
Cmon just come with me down to Mass and Cass Blvd and youll see , were every bit as scummily liberal as CA and NY.... you wanna see sophistication?
My favorite Mass story is how for decades casinos were outlawed because gambling was a degenerate influence while Mass simultaneously ran one of the largest lotteries in the nation.
Anyone who still supports the Democrats has a dirty, evil, criminal heart.
Treat them accordingly.
I'd say roughly 500,000 to 650,000 extra "votes".
