Finally, something to watch with your neo-liberal mom and republican grandma besides The View! Chelsea and Hillary Clinton have a new docuseries at Apple TV+, Gutsy, based on their acclaimed book The Book Of Gutsy Women.
The series appears to somewhat take on the format of Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith’s Facebook Live series Red Table Talk, wherein the Smiths invite on different guests to discuss hot-button emotional issues. Gutsy will follow the Clintons on a “thought-provoking” journey as they interview different women who inspire them by embodying the show’s titular quality.
Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Dr. Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, and Kate Hudson are all set to appear on Gutsy, and “many more” guests have yet to be announced. The aforementioned individuals, as the Clintons see it, are “extraordinary, courageous and resilient women who have made an impact in their community and on the world.”
The Clinton series is an enormous get for Apple TV+, especially as the streamer continues its crusade to ramp up documentary content to match a rich existing lineup of dramas and comedies. The 2020 documentary Boys State, which followed a thousand teenage boys in Texas as they participate in a mock government institute, garnered the streamer an Emmy.

Damn, all these years I thought the name of their “book” about Feminazi warriors was GUSTY Women.
Maybe they’ll feature Juanita Broaddrick in Episode #1.

My sources at Apple TV tell me this conversation was deleted from the series. I guess there wasn’t enough time to fit it in.
Chelsea: “Mom, how does a gutsy woman like yourself handle a potential embarrassment?”
Hillary: “I first try to lie, and discredit the source. If that doesn’t work, I order a hit.”
Chelsea: “A hit? What is that?”
Hillary: “The less you know about that, the better. Let’s move on.”

(1) feeling or reaction based on an instinctive emotional response
(2) toughness of character
(3) a very fat belly
Which one of these would best describe her?
Apple TV is the worst. One woke POS after another.
Episodes 2,3, and 4: Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey and Kathy Shelton.
One thing that is gutsy - or maybe the better term is shamelessly ballsy - is Chelsea taking $600,000 a year from NBC to do two or three vapid, silly “news” programs a year when she had zero prior experience. Make her the subject of the first special.
Granny better have tranny women included.
The show is about gutsy women, not women’s guts. :)
