That wasn't possible. The first two singles that could be defined as rap, King Tim III (Personality Jock) and Rapper's Delight were released in 1979, and what you might consider rap as a genre didn't exist yet, let alone were there enough LPs to use for such an event yet.
I know that. Rap should’ve been killed off around 1987, and that’s pushing it. Disco never deserved the scorn it received. Rap, conversely, has had a horrific effect on the culture, and is responsible for inspiring the criminality and deaths of countless Blacks over an absolutely evil and worthless genre.
