My wife had it. They cut it out. Went through horrible chemo and multiple surgeries.

Three years out and she is still clean.

She is the “rare” case that lives this long.

But because of the persistent nature of the disease, we feel like we are never “out of the woods.” It certainly changes your perspective on this stuff.

People with these hideous diseases very justifiably will do anything to find a cure. I certainly would! I think Steve McQueen went to Mexico for coffee enemas...as an example. Finally, there’s always divine intervention or spontaneous remission...whatever you want to call it..as a last resort. Any way you slice it cancer is a nightmarish beast and the shame of it is our government squanders billions that otherwise could be used to find a cure.
