I suspect these studies are gibberish filled with bad assumptions. A single modest volcanic eruption like Mt. St. Helens in 1980 puts as much dust into the atmosphere as a major nuclear exchange. And that does lead to a slight drop in temps (0.6 degrees if I recall correctly) but not the 13 degrees mentioned.

Even something like Tambora in 1815 that led to “the year without summer” caused widespread hunger, but not mass starvation of the sort they are claiming. And that was with much more limited food stocks and supply mechanisms than we have today.

People won’t just lie around and wait helplessly to starve. Well, maybe the indigents that make up the Democrat base. But the rest of us have substantial food stores, various abilities to adapt and raise our own food (or forage or hunt at need), slaughter livestock (providing both food and freeing up animal feed that, in a real crisis, could supplement food stores), abandon the practice of 40%+ wasted food we experience today, and ration our supplies (since most people eat too much daily anyway.)

Heat waves don't go that far. Our enemies also would not be able to hit us with thousands of nukes. Most of their nuclear weapons by far are short range or otherwise not portable into the U.S. and would not reach U.S. soil. Many others would malfunction (junk missiles), and their bombers would not penetrate far enough without being shot down. The Russian propaganda about some of its newer weapons resembles similar Iranian propaganda and doesn't even make sense (e.g., Russia's beach-busting super torpedo, Russia's missile defense flack weapons, etc.).

You completely miss the point, not that I owe you anything. Nuclear war is what we clearly want to avoid. Which is why Obama/Biden overthrowing Ukraine was a not a good thing in their Color Revolution. It has caused a civil war in Ukraine and now the Russians are involved because it affects their border. Our leadership seem willing in turn this into a global conflagration.
