Things warhead-yield-wise have changed since the old Soviet days, but safe to say a lot of the 5,900 they have will be sufficient. So how many really doesn’t matter.

Actually, how many very much matters. This is a large country. Your initial statement was a pretty definitive claim.

There was a graphic at a place I once worked - and there was no sq ft not covered by a nuke explosion. How many doesn’t matter if the yield is large enough. Back then it was 20-30mt each as I recall. Warheads by the 100s.
