Department of Health Chief Medical Officer Dr. Iris Cardona indicated that some additional monkeypox cases in Puerto Rico were due to dating apps.
“The United States already has over 700 cases, but analysis of the first 300 identified the majority being men. Most of them had the number-one epidemiological criterion, that being participating in activities involving intimate contact, very close or sexual contact, any of the two, particularly men having sex with men, and also invitations on the different platforms within social media to meet people and engage in very close relations or close contact with these people who were, until then, unknown,” Dr. Cardona stated.
“It’s not limited to dates because, for example, there are apps in Europe with invitations to mass activities with a large number of people [engaging] in intimate or sexual contact,” she added.
Cardona reported that the patients are already in isolation and that the pertinent tests will be performed in the coming hours.
If confirmed as monkeypox cases, the total [in Puerto Rico] will increase to four.

Cases of Monkeypox will sure out a lot of those wishing to remain in the closet .... will sure piss of mom or girl friends if he is doing down-low on the sly.

True, but I can't control other people. An outbreak of Monkeypox wouldn't have happened 41 years ago when AIDS was discovered, because just about 100% of everyone old enough to be sexually active had been vaccinated against Smallpox. The whole US supply of Smallpox vaccine is controlled by the US Department of Defense. The WHO wanted very strict control of Smallpox vaccines to prevent terrorists and countries from using Smallpox as a bioweapon. Monkeypox has been known to science since about 1960.
By socking it, I presume you meant use a condom. If so, you are wrong. Monkey pox can be spread by any contact, at least if there are actual pox present. You could hold a baby with pox against your bare skin and get it. Maybe sex using a wet suit, so long as no pox on the face. ;-)
Since milk maids of old were unlikely to get smallpox because they often got cow pox, does this mean they also could not get monkey pox if they were ever infected with cow pox? Does this also mean that if a person had monkey pox they would not get smallpox, or at least a very mild case?
The vaccines used against Monkeypox are Smallpox vaccines made from Vaccinia viruses. Orthopox viruses are all very similar as they are DNA viruses that have pretty slow mutation rates. The particular vaccine being used was developed in Ankara, Turkey in the 1960's by German scientists. It has been passed almost 700 times from one chicken culture to another to the point where it can't replicate in mammalian cells. It is much safer than the older Smallpox vaccines that can't be used in people with weakened immune systems.
Helpful note. Stuffing your genitals in to the rectum of another is not healthy.
