I remember seeing these little horrors in grocery stores and restaurants as toddlers in the late 90s or so. They pitched tantrums and got what they wanted, they talked very disrespectfully in demanding little tones to adults with no consequences and disrupted other people dining in nice restaurants while their parents just ignored them.
We knew then that there were going to be quite a few really awful adults in the not-too-distant future.
You know part of that was because people could not discipline their children with a sharp smack. CPS was always lurking like a secret police force. Once corporal punishment was removed as a tool for raising children the millennial outcome was inevitable.
