You know part of that was because people could not discipline their children with a sharp smack. CPS was always lurking like a secret police force. Once corporal punishment was removed as a tool for raising children the millennial outcome was inevitable.
Excellent point. Again, the extreme cases (in this case, parental abuse) are used to restrict the rights of others.
